Usually my go to when I'm in Mall of Georgia and I have no other option, but definitely not the best. Sometimes I wish I chose Chick-fil-a instead.

For $6 to $10 you can get a plate with white or fried rice (for an upcharge) or noodles, steamed veggies, and a choice of teriyaki chicken, beef, and/or shrimp.

They cook all the orders in front of you so it is all hot and fresh.

This place has garbage hospitality but I keep coming back because they're quick and the best food in the whole food court.

A lot of the times, you're at the mall and you eat at the food court for convenience. Do you want mediocre pizza, mediocre Asian food, mediocre cheesesteaks, or mediocre burgers? Sometimes, you'll get lucky and find a place that isn't even bad. Sometimes, you may even find a place that's pretty darn good. This is an example of such a place.

Do you want teriyaki or teriyaki? Teriyaki? Cool. The menu is pretty simple with chicken, beef, shrimp, and combinations of those proteins. Chicken, like always, is the cheapest. I ordered the beef and shrimp because I like spending money.

Entrees come with veggies and your choice of white rice, fried rice, or noodles. I chose fried rice and veggies. The food is cooked right in front of you on the flat top grill. How fresh is it? Probably not the freshest. It's a mall food court.

Maybe it was just my low expectations, but I rather enjoyed my meal from Asian Chao. The food tasted very good. Fried rice is an upcharge, and the one part of the meal that met my low expectations. Next time, I'll get white rice.

Honest to goodness, Asian Chao is not a bad choice if you eat at Mall of Georgia.

I'm a huge fan of chicken teriyaki at malls ... As long as they do them right! I was sad to discover that this place is juuuuuust a but sub-par imo.
    FOR THE PRICE I PAID:
    - Service was sub-par. Young man behind register was being "trained" during peak dinner hours and could not find the option for a side of steamed rice (had to wait for the one person who knew what she was doing to come do it for him). Based on the casual way he took my order, I'm assuming this is his first time working in a position like this one. The chef doesn't speak any English at all .. when I asked him about sauces, he had no idea what I was saying and kept referring me to the guy taking orders (who didn't know what he was doing).
    - The price was decent. $6-7 for a platter and $2 for a tiny side of white rice. Oh yeah, fried rice is an extra upcharge also - even if you get half noodles. I am usually glad to pay such prices if they have the final, and most important ingredient:
    - this place did not have Sriracha sauce. Probably the biggest disappointment of the night. They do have the pepper seed hot sauce (sorry, not sure what that's called).
Overall, still 3 Stars bc the food was decent for mall food.

    This place is this place.
I mean it's Mall Chinese Food. I work at the Mall and everyone eats here often. Very busy.
It's probably the best out of the food courts offerings.
I feel it's over priced and under-flavored. I'm always happy while eating it but left extra thirsty.
If you go by this Mall there is so much better outside of the food court. BUT if you have that craving for food court Chinese, do it. It is for sure it's own thing.
